Provider guidance
Provider FAQ
Plain answers before you apply or prepare a vehicle.
Common questions
- What service levels does Nexo Access use?
- The three service levels are ambulatory, wheelchair, and stretcher. Bariatric or two-person assistance is an added modifier, not a fourth service level.
- Are provider requirements the same across the region?
- No. District, state, regional, county, and program rules can overlap. Read the relevant jurisdiction guide and verify current requirements with the responsible authority.
- What happens during credentialing?
- Nexo Access reviews company, vehicle, driver, credential, and insurance material, then inspects each proposed vehicle against the published form. Written approval comes before assignment eligibility.
- Can I read the standards before applying?
- Yes. The vehicle standard, inspection form, equipment guide, self-check, incident form, signage set, glove-box checklist, getting-started guide, and insurance guidance are public. No form or email is required to read them.
- How are trip and claim records reviewed?
- Credential status is checked before assignment, and trip and claim records are reviewed before billing. Nexo Access does not promise payment speed or trip volume on this site.
- Where do I start?
- Read the credentialing path and provider pack, then submit the provider application for the company, vehicles, drivers, and jurisdictions you want considered.
