What is Nexo Access?
- Nexo Access is a medical transportation management organization. We manage transportation through a credentialed network of transport providers, on our platform, under our standards, and we answer for the service.
Who operates the vehicles?
- Credentialed transport providers operate the vehicles. Nexo Access manages scheduling, credential controls, service standards, and the trip and claim record.
Where is Nexo Access focused?
- Built for DC · MD · VA. The public site is focused on non-emergency medical transportation in DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
What service levels are planned?
- There are 3 standard service levels: ambulatory, wheelchair, and stretcher. Bariatric and two-person assist is an add-on that can layer on top of those levels when a member’s needs require it.
How can a member request a ride?
- The Nexo platform includes a member portal. Members can submit one-way or round-trip ride requests in the member portal. Dispatch reviews each request before a provider is assigned. Member sign-in opens when service launches; this public website does not collect ride details or member health information.
What information does this website collect?
- The apply and contact forms ask for ordinary business contact information. This marketing site has no member account database and asks visitors not to include protected health information.
